The goal of Mini/Midi Baccarat is to have a hand with a total value as close to 9 as possible.
Cards numbered 2 through 9 are valued as numbered; tens and face cards have a value of zero (0); and aces have a value of one (1). The total value of the cards combined for the player or banker goes by the last digit only.
For example:
9 + 6 = 5
K + 2 = 2
Q + A + 6 = 7
Baccarat offers three different ways to make a wager:
Banker | Wins if the banker’s hand has a point count higher than that of the player’s hand.
Player | Wins if the player’s hand has a point count higher than that of the banker’s hand.
Tie | Wins when both the player and banker have an equal point count. (Paid 8 to 1)
